Position

Within the CIB Back Office department, you will act as a key point of contact between business teams and technical teams. You will contribute to the optimization and digitalization of financing and operational processes, ensuring that developed solutions meet business needs while complying with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and formalize business requirements related to financing and back-office operations

  • Write clear functional specifications, user stories, and workflows for development teams

  • Coordinate work between business, development, and QA teams to ensure solution quality and relevance

  • Participate in functional testing and integration testing to validate developments

  • Contribute to functional documentation and internal procedures

  • Identify and propose improvements to existing operational processes

Work Environment

  • Join a team of approximately 60 consultants based in Paris 8th arrondissement

  • Permanent contract (CDI) – Immediate availability or to be agreed

  • Partial remote work depending on assignments

Candidate Profile

Technical Skills & Tools

  • Experience in CIB back-office projects, ideally in financing/operations

  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence, advanced Excel

  • Proficiency in Loan IQ or ACBS (back-office banking systems/software).

  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies (user stories writing, sprint follow-up)

  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and formalize functional requirements

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate interactions between business and IT teams

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously

  • Ability to synthesize complex information and present it clearly

  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Management, Computer Science, or related field

  • 6 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within CIB back-office environments

  • Knowledge of banking regulatory and operational processes is a plus (e.g., financing, collateral, clearing)
